Well, I see that Don's gone from our boisterous, opinionated, and
irreverent community of bird folks.

Pity. While I didn't necessarily always care for his approach, I always
appreciated his thoughts, insight and information. Our list - or is it
Dan's? - will be much the poorer for it.

Not criticising Dan (too much), because on his list, he obviously felt
that the list was broken, and it was his to fix. I just hope we don't end
up with Tweeters being little more than a clone of Oregon Birders On-
Line, which is about as fun to read as a paper in the Auk..... it might
be informative, but it sure is 'dry'!
