Yesterday at Marymoor started very windy, but the wind dropped. Unfortunately,
the incidence of showers rose as the morning went on, and by the time I was at
the Rowing Club, it was raining pretty hard. We had over 30 species, though.
Here's some of what we saw:

?Trumpeter? Swan Two flying towards the lake
Common Goldeneye First of the winter
Common Merganser First males of the winter
Ruby-crowned Kinglet These guys really react to pishing
Yellow-rumped Warbler Two south of the East Meadow.
Fox Sparrow Some nice looks
Pine Siskin Several flocks

The water rose another 6 inches since last week to 5 feet (about 2 feet above
the weir). If you want to walk the whole loop, WEAR TALL BOOTS.
