Wednesday, December 1st, six people from Pilchuck Audubon ferried from
Edmonds and birded Kingston, Port Gamble, Salsbury Point, Port Ludlow,
Mats Mats, Oak Bay, Indian Island, Marrowston Island and points in
between. The group leader, Darryl Thompson, tentatively identified an
immature Ivory Gull at the Oak Bay gravel pits while winds were
exceeding 30 knots. Those of us able to remain standing confirmed the
sighting. Sixty seven species were observed as follows:
