Friday, my niece and I birded again in Kent and saw at least 8 eurasian
widgeons in Smith "Lake" (formerly the fields north of Smith Dairy on West
Valley Highway before flooding). Also Northern Shovelers, Northern Pintails
with Ring-necked Ducks and Hooded Mergansers at the Ole Fishin' Hole. There
was also a convention of red-tailed hawks everywhere in the Kent Valley.
There is also the cutest mama Donkey with nursing foal alongside Frager road
for those tweeters who love hooved mammals.
