The 74 Ruffed Grouse is a mistake of the transcription of the results at
"American Birds". I looked at the Toppenish CBC list in "American Birds"
after chatting with Andy about it. They don't show any Ring-necked
Pheasants having been seen. I am guessing we saw a total of 74 pheasants
instead of Ruffed Grouse. Looking through the CBC magazine, that is not the
only error but I still think they do an impressive job of publishing all of
the CBC results.
