Tweets,
Plase excuse this shameless posting, but its neccessary. The Port Gamble CBC
is on Dec. 18th, next Saturday. I know this is the busiest day of the CBC
season. The count is in need of several good birders to compliment the mix of
local talent that has been gathered. I was the compiler the two previous
years, but am just helping out this year. You can contact Scott Hall at
whall at silverlink.net. A couple of good areas are still in need of a leader.
For those not familar with this count it is on the northern half of the
Kitsap Penisula and spills over into east Jefferson Co. There are alot of
interesting nooks in the count circle and exploration of these have produced
things like Rock Sandpiper, G. White-fronted Goose and Trumpeter Swan just in
last year's count alone. While Pt. no Pt. is always good there alot of places
that non-locals don't bird often that are VERY good.

Thanks,

Scott Downes
