Tweets,
I am interested in knowing of records people have for Western Bluebirds in
winter for W. WA. The reason I'm asking is as some may remember I had about a
dozen Bluebirds on the Pope Resources land on the West Side of the Hood Canal
at the end of November last year. They were not seen on the CBC due to high
wind (they may have been around). The reason I say they may have been around
is that today in that same area I did have 11 WESTERN BLUEBIRDS on the Port
Gamble CBC. So I'm interested in knowing how often Bluebirds over-winter in
W. WA and any thoughts on what they might be feeding on at this late of a
date?

Thanks,

To identify a species should not be enough to quench one's thirst,
a proper thirst must seek to understand every facet of the bird's
existence.
