Tweeters,

In response to Michael Hobbs' request, and following up Carol Schulz's
earlier posting, the Tacoma CBC on Dec 18th had 113 species. As Carol
pointed out, we had two DIPPERS and a RED PHALAROPE. In addition 48 BALD
EAGLES (54 reported; 6 deemed to be have been duplicated), including a
single group of 14 seen near Point Defiance. The albino COMMON LOON was
seen on count day. In addition, there were 2 HEERMAN'S GULLs, one CLARK'S
GREBE, a WHITE-THROATED SPARROW and 499 RHINOCEROS AUKLETS.

Several more species are being seen during Count Week as well.

There will be a more complete summary published in the Tahoma Audubon TOWHEE
February 1 issue.
