The Yakima Valley CBC SAturday came up with 77 species which is just below
the ten-year average but twelve less than last year. Unseasonably warm
weather for the past month and a strong wind most of the day that made
birding difficult are most of the reason. I think the number of
individuals, especially ducks, is way down.
