Here is a brief report of Bridgeport's (Douglas Co.) CBC. We had great
weather! Sunshine, blue skies and bare ground. Total no. of species, down
from last year,86. But total no. of individual birds: l8,87l, up from last
year. We added 7 new species: Double Crested Cormorant, White-breasted
Nuthatch, Greater White-fronted Goose, Snow Goose, Blue-winged Teal, Lewis
Woodpecker and Say's Phoebe. For count week we also had Common Redpolls (lst
time ever), Red-necked Grebe (lst time ever) and Northern Goshawk. Only ll
