Hello Tweeters,

I thought that I sent this out to the list but I don't think it made it.

Uau is the Hawaiian name for the Hawaiian Petrel.

For Y - From Asia there is the group "Yuhina". There are about 19 species of them from Baker's Yuhina to
Yellow-naped Yuhina

For Z, I know of only two birds with a common name starting with Z. The out of usage "Zavattariornis" more
widely known as "Stresemann's Bush-Crow" (Zavattariornis stresemnni) . It in habits east Africa. The other is
also out of usage, which is "Zebra-Dove", "Temminck's Zebra-Dove" or "Timor Zebra-Dove" which is more widely
known as the Barred Dove (Geopelia maugeus) of Africa. I did not include stuff like '"Zebra Dove" (Geopelia
striata) or "Zebra Finch" and so on.

I would imagin if you doug hard enough that you could find out of use common names that would work.

Good luck,

Russell
