I have just inherited a used spotting scope: Kowa TSN-1. Can anyone
tell me where this fits in the Kowa line of scopes? I have tried to look
on some mail order web sites but they don't carry this particular Kowa.
My guess is the model number is old and the scope names have changed. It
came with a 25X eye piece that is designed for eyeglass wearers. Since I
don't wear glasses, I have to hold my eye about an inch from the scope to
see through it. So far I'm not too impressed but perhaps I can get
something to adapt the eye piece so I can use it more easily. Also, the
scope won't attach to my quick release tripod head. Are there adapter
plates that can be purchased? The plate that is part of the scope is
much too small.

If anyone has some information on this scope please send it directly to
me so the list doesn't get clogged with peripheral information.
