While enjoying a birder's stroll through Juanita Bay Park, Kirkland, on
Friday, I was alerted to vocalization overhead. I saw 2 Snow Geese flying
north over the park. Also at Juanita were: Bald Eagle, Cooper's Hawk,
Red-tailed Hawk; a variety of ducks including Canvasback; grebes,
Golden-crowned Sparrow, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Marsh Wren. I heard a Virginia
Rail call near the Old Juanita road pathway.
