Hello Tweeters,
Have to stay home some-time and was realy rewarded to have so many Birds
comming to all our Seedfeeders Suet Feeders 2 Hummigbird Feeders and the
dripping water.
It was a verry nice cool day here in Tacoma, the sun kind of came out after
eleven and so are the birds. I notice first the big Flicker sitting on the
Suet Feeder, that is the first time i been seeing this bird on the Suett,
even so i have least 4 Downy all the time only using the Suet.It was a
steady comming of birds The chickadees drinking direct from the Water
dripper. Birds where every where. Than all of sudden a big flock flying in
to my large Pyracantha tree(coccinea, Scarlet-Firethorn) All together there
was 16 Birds, but looking closer 5 bird where Cedar Waxwings.What a
surprise it was, it been so long i had this birds direct in my yard even
seeing 11 Robins was nice to see. For some reason we never have more than a
couple of Robins latley.But since my two large Mountain Ash beeing striped
and my 4yew trees the berrys are long going so i proable not enough home to
ever see all the birds. My little "NOBLE FIR-TREE"had 2 Bewick's Wren
scratching in the dirt. I had to take the peanuts out, the bad eastern
Squirrel start comming in to the tree and made a mess on my patio.I also
heared some Red Crossbills flying over kip-kip kip. I had to watch both
sides of my yard,so i moved fort and back try to see all that many birds.

Missing today was the many Band-tailed Pigeon what we mostly have
Patrick saw the Merlin what been around for the last few weeks , so there
was no birds when i came home late in the evening.
