Hello Linda and Tweeters,
Here where i live in Fircrest we have no fog at all since 8.30 AM. i took
my RAV 4 in to the dealer at 8.00 AM and there was little fog on 38th of
I-5. I have some Fog-Lightd installed what i got for Christmas from
Patrick, it will help when we make a trip to Eastern Wasington in late
January to find the Sharp-tailed Grouse and other specialitys as the
Snow-Bunting, Bohemian Waxwing and the Sage Grouse.
I am houe bound again, the Sun is realy bright, i have four Northern
Flickers today also increased Robins to 25 but no Cedar Waxwing yet.Since
it is quite cold now ,i expect some Varied Thrushes showing up any time. We
here have usual high count of them, but this year there completly absent.
One year we had 28 there where every -where, also absent is our Hermit
Thrush what have come for the last fife years.
We went to 24 cakes of Suet since early November. The Stellers Jays are
eating big chunks when there come to the Suet-Feeders. Maybe i will get
some other species of birds today, i am looking all the time.
