Hello Tweeters:
While walking along the Green River in Kent this morning, downstream of from
the Neely Homestead and around the housing development, the following birds
were sighted:
1 pair of Barrows Goldeneye
3 pair of Hooded Mergansers
1 Double-crested Cormorant
1 Red-tailed Hawk
Several Song Sparrows
In talking to another birder I found that he sighted a Bald Eagle yesterday
on the Green River across from the intersection of Russell Road and James
Street. This is a spot where several sightings of Bald Eagles have been
seen in the early spring time.
