Margie,

As the proud and happy owner of a Swarovski Habicht ST80 equiped with
the 20X x 60X variable eyepiece I strongly reccommend that if you decide
to go with Swarovski, you most certainly should get the zoom lense. As I
see it, the problem with fixed lenses is, one is never enough and then,
of course, once you have two you'll always be wanting to switch from one
to the other and usually out in the field where you run the greatest risk
of getting dust, dirt, moisture, or whatever inside the scope each time
you switch lenses.
