Managed two more escapes to watch birds today.....inspite of the rain and
between cloudbursts. Cabin fever be gone!

My second trip was down to the "Ol' Fishin' Hole" to check on the birds.
I only spied one pair of American Wigeons this time. Spied another pied
billed grebe, a female Common Merganser,a bunch of mallards and gulls
expecting hand-outs. Those spoiled birds eagerly walked toward me as I
got out of my car!

No, I did not try and id the gulls this time!

My third trip out I stoped by a flooded cow pasture on South Central
between the Green River and and 272nd between Kent and Auburn. There I
spied hundreds of NORTHERN PINTAILS!

The gulls in the flooded cow pasture had very dark backs compared to the
ones that got me totally confused by the golf course and the "Ol' Fishin'
Hole". Okay gull experts......were these darker gulls the "Western Gull"?

Inspite of the rain, I managed to get out and check out the birds!
