At the first stop today I had a pair of Oldsquaw off of Shilshole marina,
fairly noteworthy. I looked for the YBLO that Cliff Drake had reported
several weeks back and found no loons in the marina, yet had one RTLO
outside the marina near Anthony's (where the Oldsquaw were).
The afternoon at the Skagit Game range I had a nice little assortment of
sparrows for it being not a very good sparrow day, weather wise:
1 Swamp Sparrow
3 Tree Sparrow
1 White-throated Sparrow
no Harris's Sparrow, to my knowledge it wasn't seen today by others.
two merlins also made a quick appearance.
