After a month of experimentation with formats, I have now simplified the "Bird Highlights" pages.

There is now an index page for species accounts and the 230+ distribution maps

You should be able to search for a particular species using your browser's [edit] [find]. We are expecting to have our own server up and running within a few months, and will then be able to put in our own search box.

The 1999 Bird Highlights page now is more streamlined for faster loading.

The various province/state pages now include only species for which we have written something about. Maps for the other species are now accessed only through the index page.
