A couple from BC went on vacation to Mexico and since it was very hot
Mrs. X decided to buy a bottle of soda pop--ya know--the kind with the
screw on RED cap. She didn't want to drink it all at once so she stuffed
it in her oversized purse. What she didn't realize was that the RED cap
besides not being all the way down in the purse, was not screwed on
tight and a small amount of the SUGARY liquid was seeping out of the
bottle.

Well you would never believe what happened next. A Xantus Hummingbird
sees the RED cap and thinking it is a flower, zips down into her purse.

Upon seeing some suspicious looking characters walking down the street,
Mrs. X quickly closes her purse and gets a good grip on it. Oh oh, the
little hummer is trapped inside!

That same day the couple decides to go home. About one hour into the
flight the plane gets caught in a hurricane which is so strong that it
knocks out the navigational equipment. The pilot thinking he is still
heading North is actually going East and when the plane is over Kansas
it gets caught up in one of the biggest tornados in history!

The plane is ripped apart, but as some tornados are known to do--it
safely set down all the people that were on the plane. What happened to
Mrs. Xs purse?? It was caught up in the tornado and hurled into a 300
mph jet stream heading Northwest. In no time at all the purse was over
Gibson BC. Because of the size of the purse in relation to its weight,
it floated down quit slowly and landed right in the middle of a certain
neighborhood.

While going out the door on his way to work, a man sees the purse laying
there. He walks over, picks it up, and opens it to see whom it belongs
to. You guessed it! That little hummer zips out of that purse so fast
that the man didn't even see it. Being a very honest person, as all
Canadians are, he mailed the purse to Mrs.X, upon receiving it she
looked inside and saw one tiny feather, and noticed that the soda pop
bottle was empty but the purse was completely dry. Hmmmmm

This is what happens when you quit smoking. :-)
