Subject: Winter Snowy Plovers in Washington

Tweeters,
I am attempting to compile all winter reports of snowy plovers in
Washington. For this exercise, I pretend winter is November 1 to February
28/29. I have obtained what little CBC information is available and have
searched additional sources. The record is scant.

If you have observed snowy plovers during the winter "window", I hope you
will share date, location, and number of plovers.

While you're digging through snowy plover data, I'd also be interested in
EVERY snowy seen in Washington at any time, EXCEPT at Damon Point/Oyhut
Wildlife Area and Leadbetter Point. I've already got published info and I
previously compiled reports in an appendix to the state recovery plan for
the species, published in 1995 (for a copy, please reply with your mailing
address).

Thanks. I'll report to the list when done.
