Sightings for Friday, February 19th
The ROSS'S GOOSE was observed in the morning at Coquitlam's Como Lake Park.

The Stanley Park AMERICAN DIPPER was seen near the outfall of Beaver Creek
10m from the Pipeline Rd. Bridge.

Wylie & 1st was the location of a CRESTED MYNA.

Two BLACK OYSTERCATCHERS were sighted on the north side of the Tsawwassen
Ferry Jetty. Nearby at Hwy. 17 and 52nd St. was a PEREGRINE FALCON.



Thursday, February 18th
An adult HARRIS'S SPARROW was seen in bushes beside 13941 - 40th Ave.,
South Surrey. Further west near 3 old silos with a mixed flock of sparrows
was an AMERICAN TREE SPARROW.

Four BLACK OYSTERCATCHERS were seen from the Stanley Park Seawall between
2nd & 3rd beaches.



Wednesday, February 17th
The ROSS'S GOOSE was seen at Como Lake Park around 3:00 in the afternoon.

In fields near 68th and River Rd. in Delta was an adult GLAUCOUS GULL.

Three SHORT-EARED OWLS were seen in fields near the Boundary Bay Airport.

Observed from the White Rock Pier were 2 EARED GREBE.



Tuesday, February 16th
A PEREGRINE FALCON was seen flying over Hwy 10 near 88th.

Along the Boundary Bay Dike between 72nd & 64th were 3 SHORT-EARED OWLS.



Monday, February 15th
The ROSS'S GOOSE was observed at Como Lake Park.

Two WESTERN GULLS were sighted on Burns Dr. between 96th & 88th.

The HARRIS'S SPARROW was seen from in the alley in the 2500 blk of 12th in
Vancouver.

Also from Vancouver was a report of 4 CRESTED MYNAS at Wylie & 1st and on
the Stanley Park shoreline between 2nd & 3rd Beach were 8 BLACK
OYSTERCATCHERS.

The BLUE JAY was seen near Pinewood & Rosewood in Delta in the company of
Steller's Jays.

Seen from the White Rock Pier were 2 EARED GREBES.



Sunday, February 14th
At the foot of 34th in Delta was a PRAIRIE FALCON. An AMERICAN KESTREL &
MERLIN were seen at the foot of the Robert's Bank Jetty and along Delta
Port Road was a PEREGRINE. A total of 11 SHORT-EARED OWLS were counted in
the Brunswick Point area.

From the Tsawwassen Ferry Jetty came sightings of an AMERICAN BLACK DUCK
and 6 EURASIAN WIGEON.

A LONG-EARED OWL was discovered on 72nd.

A KRIDER'S RACE RED-TAILED HAWK was observed in the N.E. field of Colony
Farm.
