I have a trip report from our stay in Puerto Rico that I will send
privately. We had a great time there, the people were very friendly, and
some great birds to see. The book to get is "A Guide to the Birds of Puerto
Rico and the Virgin Islands" by H. Raffaele. I don't know about guides, the
Chamber of Commerce might be able to help. I would try to set up a kayak
trip in the bioluminescent lagoons in Puerto Rico, our trip with Nelson
Isquerierdo (758-6533) was just magical.
Attached is a web sight for birding trip reports around the world. It
includes a very detailed report covering Puerto Rico from Mark Oberle. I had
a very funny trip report from Gail Mackiernan (sp.?) that I can't find now,
you may be able to contact her through Mark.
