I saw the Russell Road at West James Street Bald Eagles early this
afternoon. I saw these huge "lumps" sitting in the trees directly across
the river from the intersection. I had my binoculars in my car. I
pulled off the road, wound down my window and gazed up into the trees and
watched them.....

One of them was busy preening itself and let out a nice eagle call after
working over its wing feathers. These birds are fully mature beauties.
Gawd......what huge beaks on those creatures.

Its so neat having these majestic creatures hanging out less than a mile
from my lowly apartment.
