I revisited LSSP today to try again for the Sage Sparrow. I was unsuccessful (not too surprising - I had not expected it to stay
around). As it turned out, I had no chance of finding the bird where it was yesterday, as a fisherman and his two unleashed dogs
were on the spit. The man was throwing their toy across to the other side of the creek, and the dogs were literally climbing under
the log that the sparrow had been under.

On my way to the creek, I tried to locate the remains of the Cooper's coot. In doing so, I flushed the Cooper's. Looks like that's
where she hangs out. I found at least two piles of coot feathers in the area.

At least the weather was better this morning than yesterday afternoon. I'm just glad I wasn't trying to bird this afternoon.
