It would be helpful if you would add your screen name and address at the end
of your posting. I'm sure Green Lake is a great place to bird but you might
also consider your backyard. If you're really a beginner, I'd suggest taking
your binocs, bird books, and something to write your sightings on so that you
can, at least later, compare what you think you've seen to what the books say
would be possible at this time of year. Incidentally, your siskins sound
