Hi,
It has become a ritual on New Years day for my wife and I to go to
Reifel Sanctuary and count every possible species we can. We got 51 today
with notable ones being HERMIT THRUSH, HORNED OWL, NIGHT HERON, SAW-WHET
OWL, BEWICKS AND MARSH WRENS, LONGBILLED DOWITCHERS, PEREGINE FALCON.
Last year we counted 40 species. Either there are more birds or we're
getting better.
