Hi,
It appears that getting this permit may not be as easy as it was supposed
to be. If anyone out there has trouble purchasing one, and I hear that
this is the case, please let me know.
I am working with WDFW staff to insure that this program, that is part of
the new law (Vehicle Use Permit) and therefore does actually exist.
Here is the section of the law that was Engrossed House Bill 2819 that was
signed by the governor:
This is a direct quote from the new law:
"The department may accept contributions into the state wildlife fund for
the sound stewardship of fish and wildlife. Contributors shall be known as
"conservation patrons" and, for contributions of twenty dollars or more,
shall receive a fish and wildlife lands vehicle use permit free of charge."
