My wife dragged me out around 9 am Jan.1 for a walk of the neighborhood,
mostly just to walk so we're in shape for our spring Italy trip.
Any birding tips on Italy would be appreciated?
(last time we went , we didn't have a lot of time to bird but did get
some in while walking through the mountains near Bolzano in the
Dolomites, and get several life birds even though we had just one
pair of mini-nocs between the three of us).

The parrots were seen in a Blue Angels formation fly over while
we were walking across NE 92 and 8th NE Seattle, sqawking away
heading West-NW.

Sniff, they used to visit my yard, but now we're to paved in the
neighborhood.
