Birds seen today at my feeder here on Whidbey Island, NW of Seattle, in
no particular order:

fox sparrows
house sparrows
pine siskins
rufous-sided towhees (aren't they now called spotted towhees? my field
guide is a couple of yrs old)
american goldfinches
dark eyed juncos
black capped chickadees
chestnut backed chickadees
red breasted nuthatches

My favorites are the agressive, bossy little nuthatches. They are the
rulers of the roost! No others dare approach the feeder unless they
have the nut's permission.

I serve BOSS (black oil sunflower seed) in a large feeder and keep a
suet block in a "squirrel proof" feeder, both year-round.

Enjoying your posts! And thanks to all who replied and helped me
determine my zone #.
