On this glorious January 3rd, a pair of White-Tailed Kites were actively
hunting over my property and that of my neighbors, about 1 mile south of Mima
Mounds State Park. They were hovering in various spots. At times, they would
spar in mid air with each other. At other times they would contact call. I
didn't see a kill, though.
