There are some very good binoculars for considerably less than the $900
or more for the ulta models. Let me, for instance, put in a plug for
Nikon's E series. My Nikon 8X30 E binoculars, which I've had for a few
years now, set me back just a little over $300 and continue to give me a
fine view.
