They are probably safer then in the country near a farm house where SOME people
shoot them becuase the GHOW eats their cats. :-(

One person in this area said they were going to shoot the Great Horned Owls that
were nesting 30 feet up in a fir tree, until some person told them that they were
Short-eared Owls. '-) Then they said "oh--those are okey they won't eat my cats."
