Dave,

You can access the tweeters archive by sending commands
to listproc at u.washington.edu. Commands should appear in
the body of your message. Send multiple commands in one
message by placing each command on a separate line.
The listproc will mail back the results of your command.

The search command returns name for each archive file that
contains the search text as well as each line from the file
that contains the search text. More specific searches are
better, or you may get an awfully large results file back,
i.e. don't search just for crow. Example

search tweeters "Northwestern Crow"

Once you have your search results, you can retrieve any archive
files that are of interest. Example:

get tweeters tweeters.log9505
get tweeters tweeters.log9507

These files are just digests of sent messages and not threads.
You'll have to search them for the messages of interest, but
hey, you already know what search string to use.;)

One final useful command is help. By itself it will return a list of
commands. If followed by another command, it will send the
detailed help info about that specific command.

help
help search

*** Please Remember *** Send commands to listproc at u.washington.edu
and *not* tweeters at u.washington.edu.
