I took a look at the Cornell website this am. The Project Feederwatch area
has been receiving data online from some of the participants and are already
reporting patterns. They are tracking the current pine siskin irruption in
the west this year, with a concurrent decline in the PNW owing to salmonella.

The site also has essential information regarding definitive backyard feeder
protocols.

There is more information available at the site which some "backyard" folks on
Tweeters may find useful, if not interesting. If you are not familiar with
this website, you may want to check it out.
