Arrived "on location" near Selwood Park this morning around 10:00. Drove
the neighborhood looking for flocks of feeding robins. Found some at the
corner of 9th and Miller so I stopped. Almost immediately, the Brambling
appeared! Got a quick 10-15 second look before it took off. Couldn't
relocate it for nearly 45 minutes but finally, with the help of another
"Brambling chaser" :), relocated it near the corner of 6th and Nehalem
where we both got really nice extended looks at the bird. Great day for a
new life list addition! Thanks to all who have provided updates for this
species, it sure saves alot of searching time!
