Scoters are fairly common, at GG, usually just far away enough to add
confusion to the id. There was one Surf Scoter today near the boat launch
ramp close enough to see from the car. A good spot in Seattle to see
Scoters is Myrtle Edwards Park/ Elliot Bay Bikeway. You can start at the
south end at pier 70 or the north end off Elliot and Galer St. .
