Hi Tweeters, oh what a wonderful day. The bald eagle came to visit and sat
in a tree by the river for at least an hour this morning. We went down the
road a piece and I saw two 'hawks' hunting a field not far from my house.
They had so much white on them, I couldn't figure out what they were. We
ran home for the spotting scope and went back up. Luckily, I had the bird
book in the car also. It was a pair of white tailed kites hunting very
successfully!!!!! Now I don't have to go out to Mima Mounds (hadn't made it
out there yet.)
