Birders, We've seen several posts from those who have quickly found the
Brambling in Portland. Before you travel great distances to see it, read
on.
We birded hard Thursday afternoon, all day Friday, & Saturday morning until
we were shown the bird at noon Sat. We chased Robin flocks & watched
feeders, but what finally worked was driving around until we saw a flock of
Birders jumping up & down. It really helped having the 50+ Birders on
Saturday.
ps. Not one person gave us a dirty look for looking into their yard!

pps. We are fairly familiar with Brambling having seen many on Attu Alaska
last May. One flock of 30!
