Good Evening, Tweeters
A friend and I went birding Sunday at the Bob Heirmann Park near Snohomish and
saw wonderful varieties of waterfowl! 19 trumpeter swans, numerous American
widgeon, coots, mallards, gadwall, grebe(eared?), Canada geese, buffleheads,
pr of hooded mergansers, white-crowned sparrow, song sparrow, and kingfishers.
If you have not been there, you should stop by. It's near the Kenwanda Golf
Course, just outside of Snohomish, on the Connelly Road. The park is
maintained by the Snoh. Co. Parks Dept.
