I just had a chance to read the newsletter from the Falcon Research Group and it is great to see that Bud Anderson is offering the Hawk Classes again. I have taken it once and I am signed up to take it again in Tacoma. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about raptors. Bud is a great teacher and brings live hawks to class. No scope needed for study!! Last time I came into one class a little late and was almost knocked over by a soaring Kestrel. For anyone who does not belong to the Falcon Research Group, the classes will be offered in Bellingham, Mt. Vernon, Tacoma, and Seattle and anyone may sign up.
