Hi Tweeters, any one know if there are color variants in female red-winged
blackbirds? These are lighter in color, the eye line really stands out and
the tail is darker. But everything else matches. Since the cold snap,
they've taken over my feeders. They're messy eaters.
And does anyone know how much territory barn owls need? My neighbor
showed me his pair yesterday, and said they had seven young last year.
We're trying to figure out how to induce some of them to move to neighboring
barns.
