Dear Tweeters, I have an urgent need for help. I teach
writing to sixth-graders in a program which gives students
a chance to be published in community newspapers.

Last month four of my students wrote an article about
the Christmas bird count. That article has been accepted
for publication by a north-end Seattle newspaper called
The Seattle Press.

the editor has requested a couple of color photographs to
accompany the article (either prints or transparencies).
He wants a picture or two of "colorful" native birds that
counters might have seen in the Seattle area.

Does anyone out there have suitable pictures? I'm thinking
that pictures of a varied thrush might be nice, or red-
breasted sapsucker, or Steller's jay or ??

522-7513. The editor needs the photos by Tuesday or
Wednesday of next week and is seeking them gratis.
