Clarice and I braved the wind and rain for a few minutes at the Kent
Ponds this morning. Too nasty for birds, but we did see the two
peregrines and one harrier again, before we bailed out.

Looked around under the pines that border the little road rest area
just north of the northwest parking lot, where several people noted
seeing more of the pellets we wrote about last week. A couple of big
piles of pellets, especially where the pines make a sort of right
angle. Looked up in the trees for a while, Clarice spotted one barn
owl, snoozing on a limb about 2/3 of the way up. Must be more, but
they're durned hard to see.
