Subject: American x Eurasian Wigeons

I've seen 2 male Eurasion x American wigeons in the last month. One was
with the wigeon flock on the Olympic Game Farm, the other was with wigeon
at Fort Dent Park in Tukwila. Both birds were identified as hybrid wigeon
by the head: cinnamon like the Eurasian (though slightly less so) with
the green eye patch of the American. The first bird had a much grayer
body, intermediate between the two species, the second bird's body looked
identical to American wigeon.
