Lewiston, ID/Clarkston, WA Christmas Bird Count - January 3, 1999

This is the first year for this count.
This year's count produced 81 species plus 3 species seen during count week
(detail below). Highlights included Double-crested Cormorant (8), Ross's
Goose, Oldsquaw, Merlin, Virginia Rail, Marsh Wren, Golden-crowned Sparrow
(CW), and Harris's Sparrow. This should put it among the top ten counts for
Idaho (in which most of the count circle resides - perhaps 30% is in Washington)
