Hello Tweeters,
The headline of this message should have read: The search for the ICELAND
GULL!!!!
But despite the search in all areas around Sequim, and with all the large
flocks of gulls in the flooded fields, we could not locate this bird. The
only place we was unable to go is the GAME Farm what was closed to
flooding. After the strong storm on friday, we hoped to find this gull easy,
but there was no wind at all and the weather was dry, we even had sunshine
and it was quite warm. So the queston is where is this bird hiding out?

After all the search we checked Anderson road out for the SKY-LARK and had
good luck to finding this bird again. The photos of this bird can be seen
now on Dan Victors Gallery. We still try to determine which Subspecies this
bird is.

We counted 58 species and birded in this areas:Port Williams, Three
Crab,Cline Spit,Dungeness Wildlife Refuge, Idez Hook.Highlights where:Large
