Hi Tweets,

Yesterday (Saturday) afternoon, a dark-brown immature grey-morph GYRFALCON
Falco rusticola was on the large microwave horn atop the Pan Pacific Hotel
in downtown Vancouver BC. This location is at the N end of Howe St. where it
terminates against the inner part of Burrard Inlet. That there was no
interference or conflict tells that Granville Clint, the male Peale's
Peregrine Falcon Falco peregrinus which winter-roosts on the buildng
immediately to the E, was off wherever he goes to spend the day, since when
present he is fiercely territorial regardless of the other raptor's size.

This is a personal second Gyr sighting at this location.
