This morning I found two Greater White-fronted Geese with ten Canada Geese
in the ponds north of Pumphouse Road and east of South Harrah Road on the
Toppenish NWR.

In a drive through the Lower Yakima Valley driving west to Medicine Valley,
south to Fort Simcoe and east along Pumphouse Road I also saw 120 raptors -
redtails, kestrels, harriers, two rough-legs, one adult Bald Eagle and one
accipter.

Fort Simcoe still has 60-70 Lewis' Woodpeckers.

The number of ducks on the refuge is way down from four weeks ago. I saw
about 500 today compared to over 10000 on Jan. 1.
